Turn the camera around and the lot backs onto a concrete seawall with a railing along the top, a bank of boulders at its base and a ramp up to the promenade, with a high-rise tower behind it. That gives you two looks from one set, the open ocean one way and the edge of town the other. From above, it is a single row of bays wrapped in sand between the seawall and the beach.

Park a sports car alone in the lot with the ocean behind it and you have the hero shot of a car spot. The same lot plays the surfer checking the waves before work, the handoff in an empty lot, the breakup in the front seat and the drive-up to a day at the beach.
