More about this set
- A full hardwood courtroom
- The judge's bench and the witness stand
- The jury box
- Counsel tables and gallery seating
The courtroom set is a full hardwood courtroom with the judge’s bench, witness stand, jury box, counsel tables and gallery seating in place. It is built for the scenes a working courthouse will not host: the opening statement, the cross-examination, the verdict.
Rent a courtroom for filming, without a courthouse
Real courthouses rarely allow filming, and the ones that do are hard to control for lighting and sound. Here the courtroom is indoors on our stage, under professional lighting and sound, and the signage, seals and lighting can change to fit your story. Real furniture and props can sit in the foreground where your cast works, and they blend with the virtual courtroom in camera.
A courtroom set for drama, procedurals and legal training
The room works for a tense courtroom drama, a legal procedural or a filmed mock trial. Law firms and training teams use it for deposition re-enactments and courtroom training content. Our optional crew package adds three camera operators and a teleprompter operator, or you bring your own team.
The whole legal story in one shoot day
Sets swap between setups the same day. Pair the courtroom with the police station set for the arrest and the interview, the jail set for the cells, and the Texas courtroom set when the appeal needs a second courthouse. Browse courtroom, police station and jail sets together, or see how film studio rental works for a series or feature.

Common questions
Can you rent a courtroom set for filming?
Yes. Real courthouses rarely allow filming and are hard to control for lighting and sound, so most courtroom scenes are shot on a set. Our courtroom standing set gives you a full hardwood courtroom with a judge's bench, witness stand and jury box at our Burbank or Albuquerque studio. You control the light and the sound, and there is no build day.
What does the courtroom set include?
A full hardwood courtroom with the judge's bench, witness stand, jury box, counsel tables and gallery seating, with professional lighting and sound on site and an optional crew package. The signage, the seals, the lighting and the props in the foreground can all change, so it plays a tense courtroom drama or a legal procedural without a rebuild.
Can you film mock trials, depositions or legal training videos on the courtroom set?
Yes. Law firms, legal-video producers and training teams use the courtroom set for filmed mock trials, deposition re-enactments and courtroom training content, a controlled, camera-ready courtroom with professional lighting and audio, and optional crew, without the access limits of a working courthouse.
Is this a real, physical courtroom?
It's a virtual standing set: a photoreal courtroom rendered in real time on our stage and captured in camera, with real furniture and props blended into the foreground where your scene needs them. That's why you can book it on short notice, change the signage, seals and props for your story, and find it exactly the same on every shoot day.
Do you have more than one courtroom set?
Yes. Besides this hardwood courtroom, the library has the Texas Courtroom set, a traditional U.S. district court with white columns around the judge's bench, a grand clock and arched windows. Both load on the same stage, so a trial and its appeal can look like two different courthouses in one shoot day.
