Common questions
Can you rent a laboratory set for filming?
Yes. Our laboratory sets are available for film, TV and commercial shoots on our Burbank and Albuquerque stages. Real research labs are notoriously hard to permit and rarely welcome a full crew, but on stage you get the sleek lab look with complete control over lighting, sound and scheduling. And the set loads in seconds instead of costing you a location day.
Is this a real, working laboratory?
It's a photoreal virtual standing set. A laboratory environment with stainless work surfaces and modern equipment, rendered in real time and captured in camera. Real props like glassware, microscopes and lab benches can dress the foreground so your actors handle actual objects, while the rest of the lab reads convincingly on camera without a physical build.
Can we shoot the Laboratory Set and other sets on the same day?
Yes. Sets swap between setups the same day, so the Laboratory Set can share a shoot day with any other set in the library, with no company move.
