A note on availability: Due to ongoing advances in technology and our constant upgrades to systems and software, not all sets are available at all times. We keep as many ready as we can. Reach out and we'll confirm what's ready for your shoot dates.
Don't see what you need?
If it isn't in the library, we'll build it.
Our in-house set builders and artists create any location you can describe. And CastleVision, our patented capture method, records any real location in the world, with its real light and movement, and replays it on our stage. Any scene imaginable, shot in Burbank or Albuquerque.
Every news & broadcast set
What every set here can do.
- Any city behind the anchors
- The skyline swaps in minutes: New York, L.A., Chicago, Atlanta or a fictional city of your own.
- Your graphics on every monitor
- Every monitor on the set and the desk can carry your graphics, photos, video and logos.
- A real desk if you want one
- A physical desk can sit in the foreground and blend with the virtual newsroom.
- Three cameras on the desk
- Every camera is tracked and gets its own live render, so three cameras can cover the anchor desk at once.
- Teleprompters at both studios
- Beam-splitter and presidential prompters in Burbank.
- Live to air
- Both studios run a live video-linking pipeline, so the composited newsroom goes out live while it records.
- An audience when you need one
- Audience seating at both studios, stadium-style in Burbank, for live segments and press days.
- Built to cut together
- Broadcast lighting tuned for skin tones and continuity across multi-day shoots.

Questions
News & Broadcast sets, answered.
- Which news set should we use?
- For a national network look, the Network News set or Studio D. For a local station, the Broadcast Studio set. Morning shows fit the Morning Show set and sports desks the Sports Talk Show set. A political story can cut to the Oval Office, the White House press briefing room or the U.S. Capitol. Tell us the story and we will suggest the set.
- Can the newsroom show our city and our branding?
- Yes. The city behind the anchors swaps in minutes, and every monitor on the set and the desk can carry your graphics, photos, video and logos. When nothing in the library fits, our set builders and artists build a custom newsroom to your spec, branded to the station or the story.
- Can we switch between news sets on the same day?
- Yes. The set look and the city both swap in minutes, so national, local, sports and political looks can all shoot in one day on the same floor.
- Can we go live from a news set?
- Yes. Both studios run a live video-linking pipeline, so the composited newsroom goes out live in the feed to your channel or stream while it records.
- Where are the news sets?
- Every set in the library loads at both studios: L.A. Castle Studios in Burbank and ABQ Castle Studios in Albuquerque. Albuquerque shoots qualify for New Mexico’s 30% refundable film credit.
