Wind Tunnel Set

Welcome to the Wind Tunnel at L.A. Castle Studios. A smooth concrete test section curves away from the camera, lit by long strips of amber light set into its walls, and at the far end a giant turbine fan stands behind its grille, its blades catching the light. Closer in, the ribbed walls spiral like the inside of a shell. It feels like the moment before a test begins.

An engineering landmark, ready on the stage

Shoot straight down the tunnel toward the fan for a symmetrical, graphic frame, or come in low under the blades for scale. The curve of the walls gives every shot depth, and the warm light strips lead the eye from your actor to the turbine. Wide, the space reads as a working aerospace facility; close, it reads as raw, poured concrete with a clean futuristic edge.

Built for science stories, cars and athletes

This set suits science fiction and techno-thrillers, a documentary or explainer about engineering, and a commercial for a car, an airline, a sports brand or a performance product. It is also a striking world for a music video. Real vehicles, props and wind machines sit on the stage floor where your talent works and blend with the tunnel in camera.
